Tips for Bangladeshi applicants
- Start your police clearance and apostille or attestation early. Bangladeshi documents often take several weeks, and they must be recent when you submit.
- Do the medical form at a hospital that stamps and signs every section. An incomplete form is a common reason files are set aside.
- If you apply for an English-taught programme and studied in English in Bangladesh, ask your university for a medium-of-instruction certificate; it can replace a test score.
- Ask two professors who know your work to write recommendation letters, and give them at least three weeks.
- Read the programme's own notice carefully. See our guides on CSC scholarships for Bangladeshi students and admission requirements.
Frequently asked questions
Does the university use agents for this scholarship?
The university states that it does not authorise study-abroad agencies or other third parties to run paid recruitment for this programme. You apply directly through the CSC system and the university.
Can I hold another scholarship at the same time?
No. Holding another Chinese government or admitting-institution scholarship, apart from one-time awards, is not allowed. Hiding other funding can bar you from applying for three years.
Which language can I study in?
It depends on the programme. Check with the university whether your chosen major is taught in Chinese or English before you submit.
How is the final decision made?
The university reviews applications and interviews candidates, and the China Scholarship Council makes the final award decision. A pre-admission document alone is not an award.
