Tips for Bangladeshi applicants
- Start the police clearance and the medical form in December 2026; both must be less than six months old on the day you submit.
- Get your degree and transcripts attested and notarized early, and order certified English translations of anything in Bangla.
- Bangladeshi universities rarely issue an English medium-of-instruction certificate automatically, so request it from the registrar well before the deadline.
- Choose referees who can reply quickly; UIBE may contact them using the phone and email you list.
- Apply to only one CSC program this cycle. Read our CSC scholarship guide for Bangladesh and the admission requirements page before you finalize your list.
Frequently asked questions
Is a pre-admission letter the same as a scholarship?
No. It is a nomination from UIBE. The final decision rests with the China Scholarship Council, and the university states that the letter does not guarantee admission or an award.
Can I mail paper documents?
No. The university accepts electronic applications only, and unclear or incomplete files will not be reviewed.
Can I hold another scholarship at the same time?
Generally no. Holding another Chinese government or university-funded scholarship alongside this one can lead to cancellation and repayment, apart from one-time awards.
Do I need IELTS?
Only for English-taught programs without an English-medium degree. A medium-of-instruction certificate from your previous university may be accepted instead.
