Which scholarship fits you

  • Bachelor's applicants: the Outstanding Talents, Beijing Government, Beihang Freshmen and Special Cooperation scholarships all use your Beihang application and close on 30 April 2027. You need a CSCA score. The Chinese Government Type A route is open only for Chinese-taught majors.
  • Master's and PhD applicants: the CSC High-Level Postgraduate Program is the main fully funded route open now. Beihang's own and Beijing Government awards are a second chance, decided with your self-funded application.
  • Current Beihang students: the Distinguished Student Awards and annual reviews for continuing scholarships.
  • Chinese language learners and teachers: the International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship.

Who can apply

  • All routes: non-Chinese citizens in good health who meet Beihang's admission rules.
  • Bachelor's: aged 18 to 22 in principle, with HSK 5 (180) for Chinese-taught or IELTS 6.0 / TOEFL 90 for English-taught majors.
  • Master's: a bachelor's degree and under 35. PhD: a master's degree and under 40. English-taught postgraduate majors accept IELTS 6.0, TOEFL 90 or Duolingo 105.

Documents you need

  1. The full admission document set for your level (passport, certificates, transcripts, language scores, medical form, police clearance, Integrity Commitment Letter).

  4. For Outstanding Talents: at least one recommendation letter from your principal or a senior teacher.
  5. For Special Cooperation: the recommendation form signed by the partner institution.

Tips for Bangladeshi applicants

  • For postgraduate study, the High-Level Postgraduate Program is the scholarship to target now. Aim for the November or December batch; our CSC scholarship guide explains the CSC portal.
  • Bangladesh is a Belt and Road partner country, so the Silk Road program may suit you if the 2027 round includes your field.
  • For bilateral Type A, watch for the annual call announced through the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka, and ask Beihang for a pre-admission letter to include.
  • Undergraduates: book the CSCA early, collect a principal's recommendation and submit scholarship forms well before 30 April 2027.
  • A partial waiver still leaves housing, insurance and living costs. Compare options in our China scholarships guide and see our Beihang University page.
